	Edinburgh Bead Fair Classes We are pleased to announce that local artists Emma Baird and Gill Baird from The Little Bead Shop have again accepted our invitation to organise some great classes for our show on September 25th, 2011 Pre-registration for the classes is advised as we expect them to sell-out quickly. As you can see from the details below there will be something for everyone - come along and be inspired! Room One Feathered Jewels Necklace - 11:30 - 1:00 £18 This stunning design by Rebecca Anderson will attract compliments wherever you go! We will be using Swarovski crystals to create an unusual, delicate-looking necklace with sprays of nylon-coated wire feathering off to each side. Using crimps and calottes, you will learn how to attach clasps and extension chains. Suitable for all levels. Price includes tuition and all materials. Daisy Chain - 1:30 - 3:00 £18 Learn how to make this delightful daisy chain necklace. You will use a variety of sizes and colours of seed beads, making your daisies random and unique to your necklace. Daisy stitch, is a simple stitch, aimed at the complete beginner, or for the more experienced bead enthusiast who would like to learn a new stitch. Summer may be a bit of a wash out so why not brighten your days with this delightful daisy chain necklace! Price includes all tuition and beads !! Daisy Pin - 3:30 - 5:00 £18 This amazingly beautiful daisy is made with a Swarovski rivoli encasted with seed beads, 4mm Swarovski bicones and czech dagger beads. At the class you will be given a rivoli already encased with seed beads. This will give you sufficient time to embelish the rivoli in colours of your choice, ensuring you’ll take home your masterpiece. When complete you can make your delicate daisy into a pendant, pin or brooch. Price includes tuition and materials. Room Two Tila Bracelet - 11:30 - 1:00 £18 This wrap bracelet is bang on trend. It has a bohemian style with a Swarovski button for a clasp, giving it a stylish twist. We use tila beads, suede thread and a needle and thread to bring it all together. Quite simple to master, all you need is some patience, and this unique bracelet can be yours. This class is suitable for a complete beginner as well as those of you who have experience. Price includes tuition and all materials. Silver Clay - 1:30 - 3:00 £18 Have you always wanted to try Silver Clay and haven't yet? Well, this is the perfect opportunity to try the material that has literally revolutionised jewellery making in the last decade. Under the guidance of award winning artist Emma Baird you will learn the basics of how to handle the clay, how to dry it and pre-finish it, how to fire it and finally how to polish it. Time allowing we can make your pieces into finished earrings or pendants. Price includes 5g of Art Clay Silver (enough for a couple of small charms or pendant) and tuition. Please feel free to bring along your own findings and beads. Wire Wrapped Bracelet - 3:30 - 5:00 £18 Master your wire wrapping skills whilst making this gorgeous bracelet. These stunning czech beads and Swarovski crystals are a match made in heaven, and we think you’ll be thrilled with your bracelet and when you leave with it adorning your wrist.
