Various demonstrations will be taking place throughout the day. The demonstrations will take place in the main hall and are shown on a big screen so you won't miss any of the action!
For our show on Sunday 25th September these will include;
Noon - Emma Baird. Art Clay Silver, using moulds
1pm - Francesca Stanley - using a watch face to create a beautiful bracelet watch. Perfect for Christmas Presents or to match a special outfit.
2pm - Dorothy Wood - A Hair Comb for a special occasion!
About the artists.....
Emma Baird is an award winning Metal Clay Artist and Instructor. She is both a Senior Art Clay Instructor & PMC Certified. She runs the workshops in Metal Clay for the Jewellery Studio at Art Clay Scotland in Edinburgh.
Her work has been recognised internationally and she is a featured artist on the prestigious Metal Clay Guru web site. She has brought guest artists to Edinburgh for years, including Sherri Haab, Robert Dancik, Hattie Sanderson and Gordon Uyehara. Her work is a regular feature in the national UK Magazines such as Bead and Making Jewellery, with over 34 publications so far. Her work also features in several notable publications including "The Art of Metal Clay" by Sherri Haab's and "30 Minute Rings" by Lark. in 2010 she was placed First in the Metal Clay Category of the British Bead Awards.
Francesca Stanley is an artist from Silver Thistle Beads - She will show how to create unique jewellery from the quality products available from their website (or visit their stand!)
