Excellent transport communications are provided with easy access to central Scotland’s motorway network
Edinburgh Airport is situated some 10 kilometers (6 miles) to the west of the city centre with direct links to all main UK cities and a large number of European capitals. There is a frequent airport bus service that runs through haymarket to the city centre every 10 minutes (Every 30 minutes on a Sunday). Alternatively the number 35 to Ocean Terminal runs via the Corn Exchange. There are numerous Lothian buses that run frequently from the City Center Via Slateford and Gorgie (See map). These are 3 3a 33 & 25 (Gorgie), 4 & 44 (Slatford). Both stops are just before Chesser Avenue. A Timetable can be found on www.lothianbuses.co.uk
The city is served by two main line railway stations: Haymarket and the larger Waverly station, providing direct links to main Scottish and UK destinations. A connecting train to Slateford station (2 minute walk from the venue) from Waverly station runs on the Edinburgh to Glasgow central Via Shotts line and runs approx 22mins past the hour.
